EdEN Lab (Education, Evaluation,

Nutrition) helps teachers promote learning and healthier living through hands-on school garden experiences.

School gardens are an amazing learning opportunity for kids. They help them connect with essential knowledge in almost every subject, and promote healthier lifestyles along the way. They’re also a great way to connect with nature.

We’ve found that a little support can go a long way to helping teachers make the most of their school gardens and keep them thriving for years to come.

Dr. Jaimie Davis’ gardening and nutrition-based programs have reached thousands of students in the Greater Austin Area, with support from the National Institutes of Health and other donors.

No matter your level of experience, our evidence-based practices can help you grow as an educator. Apply for one of our programs or browse our free resources to learn more!
